Prospective Spouse Fiancé(e)

If you are engaged, but not yet married, to an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen and will be coming to Australia to get married, then you may be eligible for this temporary visa.

As the visa applicant, you must:

• have met your Fiance and know him/her personally
• be married within 9 months of arriving in Australia

As a Sponsor, you must:

• be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen
• be 18* years or over
• not have sponsored another partner within the last 5 years
