As an employer you must:

• Be operating a business in Regional Australia and have a need for the nominee in the regional area
• Be actively and lawfully operating a business in Australia
• Have a satisfactory record of compliance with Australian industrial relations and immigration laws

As a nominee (visa applicant) you must:

• Have at least a diploma or higher qualification
• Be under 45 years of age
• Meet mandatory licensing, registration or any professional membership requirements
